According to Soy del Millo, Chelsea have contacted River Plate over a potential transfer. The teenager has also been the subject of interest from Barcelona but the Argentine team want to tie him down to a new deal as his current contract expires in December 2026.

On the face of it, a return of one goal and one assist in 19 appearances for River Plate doesn’t make for great reading. But he is very highly rated in his country and with the Argentine giants. If Chelsea and Barca are tracking him, Subiabre will certainly have something about him.
