Lionesses’ Euro 2025 Champion Status Celebrated at EFL Matches Nationwide

EFL clubs across paid tribute to the Lionesses following their Euro 2025 success. Chloe Kelly went to her first club and local side Queens Park in west London, Hannah Hampton returned to her beloved , Niamh Charles was back on Merseyside at Rovers and Lauren Hemp attended City’s game.

The Lionesses returned from to England a fortnight ago to rapturous scenes at Southend Airport, where hundreds of fans gathered to welcome them. The celebrations continued with a Downing Street reception hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, where the squad gifted a signed England shirt. An open-top bus parade and a procession along The Mall was also part of the festivities.

The Lionesses’ triumph in has cemented their place in history as the first English team to win a major trophy abroad. Attention will soon turn to preparations for the 2027 qualifiers.
